QIC Standards and Accreditation Program

PLEASE NOTE: The information provided below is applicable only to organisations which are accredited (or currently are working towards accreditation) under the QIC 5th Edition Core Standards and selected modules. The 6th Edition of Core Standards is shortly to be released, which will supersede the 5th Edition Core Standards and it's related service delivery. The 6th Edition Core Standards will not have modules, but a set of specific  guidelines - further information in relation to the  6th edition requirements is expected to be available in the near future and will be provided when available.

The documents below are only applicable to the 5th Edition Core Standards - further documentation for 6th Edition Core Standards will be provided when available. Please direct any questions to IHCA management.

To view/open the resources listed below you will require Adobe Reader and WinZip. Adobe Reader can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. WinZip is often already provided with many Windows systems, if not then it can be downloaded from http://www.winzip.com.

The following is a complete list of documents required for the Quality Improvement Council Standards and Accreditation Program, in alphabetical order.  Please note that in order to have a complete kit, all documents identified as part of the Core Module must be downloaded, together with all the relevant Service Delivery Module documents.

Please note, we cannot provide electronic copies of the QIC Standards for copyright reasons. If you wish to purchase copies of the standards, please complete the QIC Module order form below or contact IHCA.
